The initial concept for this was to take a slow shutter with two subway cars passing by simultaneously on either side. Turns out the test shot stole the show! I was testing the exposure for the slow shutter to make sure I had it right before the trains came. This was taken with a 3 second shutter and just so happened to give the escalator a nice smooth contrast to the grit everywhere else. You would never know by looking at it but this was actually taken early morning and the station was pretty crowded, I just so happened to capture a people free moment. via http://bit.ly/1Jo2fkr
