Mathura | India | 2015 A very pleasant and unusual scene I came across when on streets of Mathura. Backstory : As I hired a rickshaw to drop me at the famous ghat (River Bank) of Mathura, enroute I closely observed the streets that I passed through. I knew I would walk back to the city centre ( about 3 kms from ghats ), if the streets looked promising. I came across this frame of a cute little calf resting in front of the house, and at that given moment had no human element in the frame. But I knew, this could be a good shot if waited upon. After exploring the ghats for few hours, I head back in search of this house. Its very easy to get lost in the lanes of mathura, and thats exactly what happened. After about 2 hours of searching, I found the frame but this time decorated with a beautiful story as a bonus. As the kids studied watched over by their (proud) father, calf was roaming around them. I just kept myself and the camera invisible as I lit up a smoke to pretend as a 'tourist-on-a-smoke-break'. I kept praying for the calf to get involved with the scene or may be with their 'studies'. Within a minute my prayer was answered, calf did exactly what I needed and bang ;) www.subodhshetty.com via http://500px.com/photo/101290669
